Weight Loss Tips - Fast & Easy

I get messages from my subscribers and friends both, saying they just don't have the time to eat right or exercise. This not only happens at the beginning of the year, but all year long. I do in fact see a rise at the beginning of the New Year from those people who make their resolutions a weight loss resolution. These are regular people like you or I. They are busy moms and dads, professionals, young adults and even late teen students. All with one thing in common: they can find no time in their jammed packed days, evenings or nights.

With all the responsibilities and time constraints, more and more say they just can't keep themselves healthy enough to get down to their optimal weight. Most are telling me with their schedules, they are finding it hard to even maintain their current weight and as time has been passing, they have been putting on more and more. Some are moving up a little at a time, others are seeing jumps in their weight or gaining weight in stages. That is where I fit in. Is there a way we can all live healthier and exercise as part of our everyday life?

When most people think about weight loss, we all think about the things we always see and hear. Dieting and Exercise! We relate these two things as TIME. The truth of the matter and the "FACT" about them is not talked about, is they do not necessarily go together. They are two very different things. Nutritional intake and exercise don't really go together like we are taught to believe.

After talking to experts in weight loss, all have said the person looking to loose weight or even maintain the weight they are, should look into and have a nutritional plan. If a person has and follows a nutritional plan and uses no exercise, they will in fact loose weight. Provided they have no medical issues or underlying physical problems. It is when someone falls off the wagon, for a lack of better term, these experts see the weight gains. When people don't follow the plan, but workout or exercise faithfully, most don't loose any weight. But they can't see it because they may not know the importance of the nutritional plan. If you have tried working out but not changing your diet, you may already know this to be true. Make your eating the priority. It may take you a lot less time.

Now, knowing this is so important in weight loss, you can make some changes in your nutrition that may be easier for you to cope with and help with the weight you are trying to loose. The experts have seen people loose as much as twenty pounds with these changes with no formal exercise regiment.

Get rid of as much or all the dairy in your diet. The more you get rid of the better. This is the number one reason why people are having problems losing weight. We were always told, "Dairy does a body good". This is very far from the truth. It causes digestive problems for most people, clogs arteries and inflammation in the body and causes weight gain. Once again, most don't know this. Get your calcium from supplements and green leafy vegetables. If you have been gaining weight or have tried with trouble in the past, you may see automatic weight loss without dairy intake.

Another change would be to drink only water. If you can eliminate sugar intake along with all the sugar and diet soda and drinks, this will cause a weight loss dramatically. Some studies have shown a loss of as much as fifteen pounds with the elimination of diet coke form your diet. This study was done without changing any other part of a persons diet. Although this along with other is suppose to be "Diet" the sweeteners in these drinks can be worse for your body than sugar. Stay away from Equal or Aspartame, Splenda and Sweet & Low. These artificial sweeteners can be toxic to your body and cause you to gain more weight than sugar itself.

Try to use better judgment when it comes to snacks throughout the day and evenings. Fruits and nuts are a quick choice you can make while in a rush for something to eat in your grocery stores. If you find you are buying fruit and often throwing it away, try buying them in a canned form or even in the pop top forms many have turned to.
Most of the super stores out there today have health food sections. Make a point of going through them and trying some new things you may find to be filling yet healthy for you. Take some time to find healthier foods to eat. Look into a nutritional program for yourself. Stick with the intake that is recommended.

You may find that losing weight will not be as hard and time consuming as you may think. If you can add in some exercise, that would be a plus, but just eating differently can make all the difference you are looking for. Try not to make this harder than it has to be. Don't use time as your reason to do nothing about weight loss.
